Speech-Language Pathologist | Independent Contractor
Responsibilities:
-
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders

Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients
-
Maintaining appropriate and timely documentation, records, and reports
-
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care
-
Adhering to professionalism guidelines (i.e., maintaining appropriate and professional interactions with clients, parents, staff, and other individuals, in home, office & community environments)
Ideal Candidate:
-
Comfortable working independently, as well as with a multidisciplinary team
-
Experience working with children and neurodiverse populations
-
Knowledge and experience with assessing and treating speech sound delays, receptive and expressive language delays, social language delays, etc.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Effective organizational, decision-making, and time management skills
-
Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Minimal Job Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
-
Must be registered and maintain good standing with Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)

Valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicle
-
Must have a current Police Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check, and a Child Intervention Record Check upon hire
Additional Requirements:

Experience with FSCD contracts is an asset
